Tomorrow never came

When tomorrow never came98bebc2dcf4787dfee3c8b2c9155a422

I was wandering around

Like a traveler on a path

In search of a destination

But instead I was walking down

Empty roads without salvation

Amidst the barren trees

I suddenly could see

Through the haze of time

What had become of me

When tomorrow never came

The sun was shining

Too bright, too high

I was going too fast

And that was the day, I lost my mind

When tomorrow never came

I was wandering around

Walking along the tracks

Near the abandoned train station

Thinking about your hollow words

That had left me without inspiration

And in winter’s chilling breeze

I suddenly could see

Through the haze of time

What had become of me

When tomorrow never came

The sun was shining

Too bright, too high

I was going too fast

And that was the day, I lost my mind

When tomorrow never came

There was a shadow

Too dark, too nigh

I looked the devil in the eye

That just made me want to lay down and die

I lost my mind

My mind

That was the day
